Mechanicsburg isn’t just a stop on the map for My Choice — it’s home. The village was platted back in 1814 in Champaign County’s Goshen Township, and a lot of that long history shows up in the housing stock: older ductwork, older electrical panels, additions built onto original structures, and systems that were sized for a different era. Whatever your home’s story is, we’ve likely already seen a version of it two streets over.

Being based here means something practical too — when a Mechanicsburg homeowner calls, there’s no long drive eating into the response window. In most cases, that’s same-day service, sometimes faster than towns further out in our service area.

Why Mechanicsburg Homeowners Choose My Choice

We're already here

No drive-time markup, no scheduling around a long commute — Mechanicsburg jobs are the easiest ones for us to fit in fast.

We know the housing stock

Older village homes often have quirks a system sized for new construction won't account for. We factor that in from the first visit.

Documented, not just spoken

Family-owned, local roots

Owner Alex Troyer built My Choice around treating every home like a neighbor's — because in Mechanicsburg, a lot of the time, it is one.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I ran into issues after a power outage and Alex fit me into his tight schedule. After losing power again, we had to delay the appointment, but he was more than willing to come straight over to my house to fix the issue right when we regained power. Alex was very knowledgeable and corrected the issue right away. Excellent service.

Common Questions

Mechanicsburg HVAC FAQs

Is My Choice actually based in Mechanicsburg, or just serving it?

My Choice Heating & Air is based in Mechanicsburg — it’s home base, not just a service stop. That means less drive time and typically the fastest response window in our whole service area.

How fast can you respond to a service call in Mechanicsburg?

In most cases, same day — often faster than surrounding communities simply because we’re already here. Call or text 614-588-4826.

Do you work on older homes in Mechanicsburg?

Yes. Mechanicsburg is a village established in 1814, and a lot of the housing stock is older — which often means aging ductwork, older electric panels, or systems that were never quite sized right to begin with. We factor all of that into any repair or installation recommendation.

What HVAC services are available in Mechanicsburg?

Air conditioning, heating and furnace service, heat pumps, indoor air quality, and maintenance plans — repair, installation, replacement, and maintenance across all of them.

Do you charge more to service Mechanicsburg since it's a smaller village?

No — pricing is the same $89 diagnostic fee regardless of location within our service area, and if anything, Mechanicsburg jobs tend to get scheduled fastest since there’s no drive time involved.
